The goal of the project is the evaluation of water discharge levels, given characteristics return periods, for the majoriry of italian rivers. Rainfall and water discharge information, gathered and distributed by the Italian Hydrografic Office, are analyized using regionalized statistical techniques. To date regional reports and a prototype of computer data-base have been produced.
