GEOHAZARDS is an automatic mailing list for individuals and organizations interested in the assessment, evaluation, mapping and mitigation of geological hazards and risks. Subscription to the list is free, i.e., open to anyone at no charge. The list is not moderated, i.e., messages are not screend by a moderator.

To subscribe to the list just send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.CNR.IT containing ONLY the following text:

SUB GEOHAZARDS Your_Name Your_Surname
Do not include a signature or any comment within the body of the mail message. Do not specify a mail subject.

Pay attention! Do not send a subscription command to the GEOHAZARDS@GNDCI.CNR.IT address but only to the LISTSERV@LISTSERV.CNR.IT address. Here is why.

After you have subscribed you should receive a confirmation message from the list server software. You are then kindly requested to send an e-mail message to the list with a brief description of your specific or general interests in geological hazards. In any case, note that this is not mandatory.

To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just send jour mail to GEOHAZARDS@GNDCI.CNR.IT. The message will be authomatically forwarded.
